GingerPecanGinger Pecan Cookies

1 1/3 c Sifted all-purpose flour

1/2 tsp. baking soda

1/2 tsp. each of Cinnamon, Cloves and Nutmeg

1 stick (16 tbl) of butter

1/2 c sugar

1 egg

1/2 c light brown sugar

3/4 c crystallized ginger

1 tbl ginger

3/4 c chopped toasted pecans

Cream together Butter, Sugars and continue beating until light and fluffy 4-5 minutes.  Add egg and combine.

Stir and add dry ingredients flour, soda and spices.

Fold in crystallized ginger and pecans.

Place by teaspoons (small scoops) on baking sheet about 2 inches apart.  Bake at 370 degrees until lightly browned 10 to 12 minutes.
