About Cole

Our branch of the Cole family came to California in the late 1800’s from Austria.  On January 16, 1899, Christopher Cole married Francisca Rubidoux who is traced to the Rubidoux family for whom the city of Rubidoux, California, is named.

Christopher and Francisca Cole had seven children.  They were: Art, Everett, Carolyn, Jean, Amos, Harry and Ethel.

Thanks to Ron Cole (son of Everett Cole), we have additional information on the Cole family and he provided us with many new family photos and additional information.

The last that we heard of Art Cole was many years ago and he was living in the Palm Springs area with his wife Dorothy after his retirement from the auto parts business.
