Barbara Gette Dura

Barbara Gette was born September 13, 1908 in Russia and immigrated to the United States around 1922. She married Arthur Dura on November 7, 1928 in Munich, North Dakota.

Art Dura died on July 18, 1979 and Barbara Dura died on December 11, 1981.

Their children are: Gloria Dura; Arthur Urban Dura, born July 06, 1931 and died October 24, 1993; Caroline Dura; Beverly Jean Dura; Cora Dale Dura and Julius Gene Dura.

Olaf G. Hertsgaard, 81, Fargo, died Saturday, July 5, 2003, in his home.  Olaf was born Sept. 24, 1921, in Kindred, N.D., where he grew up and graduated from high school in 1939. He attended North Dakota State University and Concordia College and then helped his father farm near Kindred. He and his brother began farming beets in 1948. On Nov. 9, 1972, he married Gloria Dura Merrigan. They lived near Kindred until moving into Kindred in 1985.

He is survived by his wife; three daughters, Vickie (Allan) Nelson, Lidgerwood, N.D., Donna (Kevin) Lipetzky, Fargo, Gwen (Jim) Howe, Casselton, N.D.; a brother, Paul, Fargo; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
